apparently, nobody really knows how xelcan's hair works, so I made up a little diagram.


From left to right:


Arctic - This form is the rarest you'll ever see of Xelcan, though its one of my favorites. This only happens in extremely cold temperatures, arctic chills of 100 below 0 or more (Fahrenheit) When it gets much cooler than this, he goes into his first berzerker mode.

Cold - The more commonly known xelcan hair. He prefers cold temperatures for some reason, so this is the color you'll most likely see him with. (-20 - 40 degrees or so)

Chilly - This is when things start getting to room temperature, but slightly below

Warm - Slightly above room temperature

Hot - Another more common form of Xelcan, if he's not cold, he likes to be hot. No room temperature shit for him. xD This is generally what you'll see him as if he's hot. (90-150 or so degrees)

Scorching - Another rare flavor of Xelcan. This is for extremeeeeely hot stuff (Fire, molten lava, ect.) temperatures. This is right before his second berserker mode. Those will come later!

Basically anything inbetween falls on the given gradient there. xD

Things xelcan's hair does not do:

Change at different rates (ALL his hair changes at the same time, of the average temperature of his BODY.)

Jump from one extreme quickly to the other (Its a gradient fade, not a flash, boom, and BAM his color changed)

Change with his eye color (His eyes are a completely seperate utility. His eyes changed based on what power he is USING. If he is USING hot magic, they go pink, if he is USING cold magic they go teal. so his hair GENERALLY responds to his eyes, but not neccesarily. if he isn't using any magic, his eyes are grey.)
